Random pics....

hehe :)

Our little "Jestor"....

Get it...Jess plus Victor...

He's so photogenic and loves to get his picture taken.

Cross was 12 lbs and 23 inches at his 2 month appt. That was the 50th percentile for both height and weight. The doctor was very impressed since he went from the 10th percentile up to the 50th. He's a very strong boy! His head circumference also went up from the 10th to 50th percentile and the doc said he was a very smart boy by his interactions and head growth. But we knew that...hehe :) Pretty good stats for arriving almost a month early!

Cross has been rolling from tummy to back for the past several weeks and has been repeatedly saying what sounds like "good" or "I'm good". I tell him what a good boy he is constantly and I think he's picked it up!

Today Cross is 12 weeks old....wow, how time flies. He will be officially 3 months old on March 5th. He will be going back to the doc the week after next for his 3 month vaccine. He got 2 vaccines during his 2 month appt. We're spacing them out a bit and taking the Pediatrician's recommendation on not getting the Rotavirus vaccine and delaying any kind of flu vaccine until after 2 years old. So far we really like his doc and that he really keeps current on his research.

Ok, my baby is next to me talking to get my attention. hehe! Talk with you soon!

That's my Boy!

Cross is all smiles these days! He's really starting to interact. He's reaching for things and grasping. He notices his mobile and the art on the wall. He also loves the dots on his bedding. It's so cute to see him reaching and touching these things. He gets so excited and his little legs are just kicking and he's making noises. He's using his tongue and voicebox and trying to talk...hehe. I love this little guy.

Cross will be 2 months old on Thursday - Feb 5th! Shout out to Taylor since her 1st Birthday is also on Feb 5th! Cross would also like to wish his late great-Papaw P a Happy Birthday today - Feb 2nd.

Cross has a doctor's appointment on Friday. We're trying to decide if we are going to get the full vaccine set during that time or go with a more delayed schedule. We have more research to do this week before we make that final decision. Needless to say it's going to be hard seeing him get shots to matter how many there are! I'll probably cry more than him. Whew!

We are still with power, thank goodness! Luckily the utility lines in our neighborhood are buried and I'm betting that had a lot to do with the fact we never lost power. We are so grateful and blessed!

Hope everyone is having a great week!
